To read subtitles, first download the subtitles, then paste it to this reader. It gives options for turning on pinyin, translation, audio, as well as exporting it as document.
pros:
tools to adjust when reading. for example, choosing HSK levels to show pinyin.
export options for flashcards, pdf, vocabulary lists, etc.
offers quite decent machine translation (more correct compared to language reactor, in my experience)
cons:
it has 1000 characters input limit for the free version
another Chinese Reader option: Chinese Reader by language reactor
pros:
it does not have input limit for the free version
cons:
not as good machine translation
no export options to create pdf or flashcards
no hsk levels shown on words
Youtube Playlist:
(all with soft coded subs to use with language reactor)
(If the original sub is in traditional Chinese, click "auto-translate" to change to simplified Chinese.)
